Based on the famous short story by Edgar Allan Poe, and starring a cast of hard-working CFLA students, "Usher" is sure to be a riveting...and spooky...performance and a great way to herald the start of renewed Performing Arts program.

Wayne Shaw, who has a BA in Theatre Directing and Design from the University of Illinois, and four decades of experience as an actor and director in theaters in the Chicago area, has joined the CFLA team as our Theatre and Speech teacher. Plans are underway for this year's performances, including Fall of the House of Usher, The Trial of Santa and Our Town. In addition, Mr. Shaw is inaugurating a competitive speech and debate program.
